Monster Island, the Asylum’s mockbuster for 2019, was released just in time with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about a mysterious island where a monstrous creature lives, and the creature is, in a sense, the island itself.


To reduce costs, the film only features a handful human characters. Also, all A-listers will be on one set to allow them to shoot all sequences in lunch. But let's not forget that this is a kaiju film, and that's basically of Monster Island by Decker Shado how those things work, so maybe The Asylum won't do too badly with it?
